China Moon Strategies, LLC, is a consulting firm Jeff founded in 2017 after leaving the White House, where he was Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for China Affairs.  Prior to joining the government, he was Vice President of Worldwide Government Relations & Public Policy at Dolby and, previously, Vice President of Asia-Pacific Policy & Government Affairs at Cisco Systems.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Moon was a U.S. State Department diplomat who specialized in China affairs.  He was posted overseas to Beijing, Chengdu and Taipei and in Washington to the China Desk and the Economic Bureau.  He served on the National Security Council at the White House and, in his final Foreign Service assignment, was Acting Ambassador (Charge d’Affaires) in Nepal.  Mr. Moon began his career as an attorney at Skadden, Arps in Washington, DC.  He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Columbia Law School.
